By proactively developing a portfolio of raw materials, recipes and finished goods that meet rigorous standards for sustainability, nutrition, and flavor, we are enhancing our customers’ product portfolios while advancing our vision for a healthier, more sustainable world.



Sustainably Sourced Materials
We’re investing in hero ingredients that meet the criteria for sustainable nutrition because they are grown using sustainable and regenerative practices, are nutrient dense and are broadly scalable. These ingredients include mung bean protein, millet and sorghum flour.

Our Goals
We are aiming for 80% of our raw materials to be sustainably sourced and 100% of major raw materials to be from certified sustainable sources by 2030. Today, 15% of raw materials are sustainably sourced and 18% of major raw materials are certified sustainable.

Meeting Global Standards for Nutrition
We are setting high standards for nutrition based on best practices from globally recognized organizations such as the WHO, FDA and Public Health England. These external global nutrition standards are being incorporated into our product development process for all innovation projects, meaning we adhere to upper limits for sodium, sugar and/or saturated fat and incorporate positive nutrients such as fiber, vitamins and minerals.
We’ve exceeded our goal for 50% of our finished products to meet or exceed external global nutrition standards by 2030.
