Griffith Foods Brings Nutrition Innovation to SnackEx

At this year’s Snackex exhibition in Barcelona, Griffith Foods Europe will highlight its recent innovations that will allow snack producers to tap into some of the main market trends, such as sustainable sourcing, flavor differentiation and responsible snacking. Griffith Foods is dedicated to creating sustainable solutions and ensures 85% of all ingredients are sourced sustainably across the supply chain.

The company’s desire to help consumers enjoy the benefits of more balanced nutrition while not compromising on taste or texture has contributed to delivering industry wide solutions. To illustrate this, Griffith Foods will reveal during Snackex a series of new and inspiring flavor concepts with a reduction in sodium and sugar while maintaining taste to exceptional standards, so essential to current industry demands.

Griffith Foods’ Product Development & Innovation division has developed delicious and nutritious prototypes across various snack segments to highlight Griffith Foods’ strengths in creating authentic products with new flavors using natural origin ingredients, and front-of-package claims that set it apart from competition. In particular, its new portfolio of 50% sodium reduction up to “no added sodium” snacks as well as sugar reduction solutions will be demonstrated with sodium reduced ‘Black Garlic Sweet Chili’ hand cooked crisps, no added sodium ‘Thai Green Curry’ extruded balls, or sugar reduced dipping sauces, such as ‘Harissa ras’el hanout’. For nut lovers, there will be a unique, colourful combination of vegetables and nuts in support of the increasing market demand of healthy fibers and fats.
