Today we have access to herbs and spices from around the world which we can use every day to enhance our foods and experience different cuisines. Using herbs and spices not only creates flavorful dishes, but can add a variety of vitamins and nutrients to your foods while decreasing salt, fat and sugar. Studies have shown health benefits for cinnamon, chili peppers, turmeric, garlic, oregano, basil, thyme, sage and rosemary, just to name a few.
