What DIB&E Means to Us

At Griffith Foods, making the future better starts with
Diversity
Mulitple aspects of our people's identities, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, creed, gender and gender identity, sexual orientation, generation, social class, (dis)ability status, learning styles, life experiences, religion/spirituality, national origin, military/veteran status and political perspective.
,
Inclusion
Deliberate action(s) that removes systemic barriers, provides equal access to information, opportunities, resources, and advancement for all our people, and ensures a psychologically safe work environment where each person is heard, supported, and respected for their unique background, experience, and perspectives.
,
Belonging
Feeling of support, acceptance, and appreciation—the extent to which our people can bring their whole selves to work and be able to do their best work without having to sacrifice meaningful aspects of their identity.
, and
Equity
Fair and just practices. Acknowledging and addressing structural inequalities that advantage some and disadvantage others and that each person comes from different circumstances with different needs to succeed. Identifying and eliminating barriers that have prevented the full participation of some groups and providing equal access to opportunities for all.
.
As a part of our foundational goals, we see our DIB&E efforts as a critical component of maintaining our employees’ professional and personal welfare. Learn more about our commitment to our employees’ wellbeing and fulfillment.

Creating Our Culture

Businesses have a critical role to play in tackling inequity, and at Griffith Foods, we want to do our part to end discrimination, prejudice, and injustice in the workplace. We strive to create a culture of empowerment, inclusion, trust, and authenticity—one that removes barriers, provides equal access to opportunities, and prioritizes DIB&E.

Defining Our Commitment

Belonging is a feeling, Inclusion is an action, Diversity is an outcome, and Equity is at our core. Together we want to create and sustain a culture that prioritizes inclusivity and focuses our efforts on achieving gender parity at the management level globally. We will accomplish this by ensuring equal representation, equal pay, and equitable working practices throughout the company; making the future better for our employees and everyone around us.

Living Our Values

The work of DIB&E isn’t something that can be checked off a to-do list; it’s an ongoing practice that requires constant attention. Globally, we will continue to work together to create and sustain an inclusive culture rooted in meaningful conversation and respect, ensuring our people can proudly be their authentic selves.

How We’re Doing: Our Workforce Representation

In the interest of transparency and accountability, Griffith Foods wants to be clear about where we are today, recognizing both what we have accomplished as well as where we need to improve.

As a part of our efforts, we have partnered with Paradigm for Parity®, Disability:IN, and CEO Action to create impactful movement. We will continue to focus on fostering an inclusive and empowering environment where all can thrive.
