At Griffith Foods, we aim to create a regenerative future and build food systems that are sustainable and resilient for both people and the planet. A sustainable supply chain enables us to deliver high-quality products in a way that supports the growers and farming communities. That\u2019s why we established our TEROVA business in 2019 to work directly with spice and herb farmers to create an integrated supply chain.<\/p>

TEROVA uses a farmer-first approach to source ingredients, with a focus on supplying fully traceable and sustainably certified spices, herbs, botanicals, and innovative ingredients. Our TEROVA teams work directly with farmers in the communities where we source our raw materials to enhance sustainability through education and training. We help train these farmers on how to improve their sustainability practices such as reducing fertilizer use, promoting composting and soil enrichment, and implementing procedures to improve ingredient integrity and reduce waste. As part of our 2030 Aspirations, Griffith Foods has a goal to create a positive impact for 25,000 small-scale farmers, and so far, we have reached 3,089.<\/p>

TEROVA also works closely with farmers and local leaders to address community challenges and implement social support projects for long-term impact and empowerment. TEROVA community projects have helped thousands of people across India, Albania, and Vietnam. <\/p>

For example, TEROVA supports community health by facilitating annual health camps for farmers and their families to receive wellness checks. In India, we support mobile health clinics that provide medical access to remote communities in the region where we source our seed spices. Our TEROVA teams have also launched education support projects and infrastructure improvements throughout the farming communities where we operate. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

In Rajasthan, India, we recently created a program to address drinking water supply challenges in the region. Working closely with local leaders, TEROVA developed a plan\u00a0to set up a Reverse Osmosis (RO)\u00a0drinking water station\u00a0in the Antiya village, which was experiencing an erratic and unreliable water supply. This is one of five drinking water plants we\u2019ve built in India to date supplying over 6 million liters of water. These projects benefit more than 600 to 800 families daily,\u00a0often greatly improving the lives of women who would previously travel farther or wait in long lines for clean water. In total, TEROVA manages five drinking water stations in India.<\/p>

We also connect with students in the areas where we source our raw materials to engage them in the environmental sustainability efforts that we are encouraging on-farms. We involve school children in our local tree planting programs and teach them about water conservation and protecting our natural resources. <\/p>

Our participation in community projects is an integral part of TEROVA\u2019s sustainable sourcing strategy, and we are driving transformative change in agriculture by working directly with farmers to enhance sustainable practices and support community needs.<\/p>
