By partnering with key customers, suppliers and farmers,\u00a0 we are advancing the adoption of regenerative practices. Practices enhance soil health and biodiversity, improve water stewardship and\/or reduce emissions, while making farming more productive and profitable.\u00a0 As part of our 2030 Aspirations, we aim to advance regenerative agriculture practices across 1 million acres by 2030. There is no one-size-fits-all solution, which is why we are currently piloting and scaling over a dozen different regenerative agriculture projects around the world. Today, we have over 100,000 acres underway.<\/p>\n<p>One of our biggest projects is focused on regenerative wheat in Ontario, Canada. The initiative introduces a hybrid \u201cpayment for practice and payment for outcomes\u201d model that directly rewards farmers for implementing regenerative agriculture practices. We use the EcoVadis supplier assessment tool\u00a0to track progress on environmental, ethics, labor and human rights, and sustainable procurement issues with our suppliers, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/recognition.ecovadis.com\/bGvtxfSGFUuHwCVZOWDqOQ\">our own company&#8217;s performance<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Griffith Foods was awarded with a silver medal, and we are proud that <strong>78% of our spend was sourced from suppliers with a 50 points or higher medal from EcoVadis<\/strong>.
